Underground Home Architecture with Natural Insulation Concept Design

This is one Ordos project in Inner Mongolia built to feel the sensation of underground home with natural insulation concept. Indeed, the underground home is really built entirely underground, this is just a concept whose architecture made as closely as possible to feel the condition if the house is underground. The concept of natural insulation design is also one of the supporters, so the owner can feel to live underground. This home was built underground in a hard area moreover with home construction that wrapped in textured dark brick facade that makes the atmosphere like being under the ground. The facade of dark brick texture give a little decoration outside whereas the underground home interior part of this home is all in white plaster and didn’t deal with the heat or air outside at all. Even so, a few gaps could be used if the owner really misses the sunlight entering the room. The architectural form of this underground home is like a stone with few holes as doors and access to light, this is really interesting.
